Karen Kachele Gottschalk Karen Kachele Gottschalk is a founding board member and co-Chairwoman for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. She has been a member of the board since 2009. She is a Client Relationship Executive with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global, audit and assurance, tax and consulting services corporation. RussellPaquette Russell Paquette is a founding board member and Sponsorship Lead for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum and has been a member of the board since 2009. Paquette, Treasurer of Vulcan, Inc., is a highly accomplished treasury, risk & finance executive with 20+ years of progressive leadership across several industries including retail, financial services and health care. He is actively involved with several organizations including Financial Executives International (FEI) and the national Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). AnneEtterWeb Anne Etter is a board member and strategic advisor for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. She has been an important member of the speaker committee since 2009. As Vice President Internal Audit for Outerwall, she is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the audit activities for Coinstar, Redbox, and ecoATM. Etter is a certified public accountant, certified internal auditor, ISQ certified quality auditor, certified ISM Lead Auditor and a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt. She is a board member of the Puget Sound Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the American Lung Association of the Mountain Pacific, and also sits on the advisory board of the Seattle University Center for Business Ethics.
 VanVongWeb Van Vong is a board member and co-Chairman of the speaker committee for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. She has been a critical member of the speaker committee since 2009. Van is a Senior Vice President and Client Manager with Marsh, Inc in Seattle. Marsh is devoted to finding the opportunity in risk. Van is a board member of the Washington Chapter of RIMS, Seattle Public Schools Academy of Finance and Greater Seattle Chinese Chamber of Commerce. She is also an Associate in Risk Management and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
 Cynthia Behnen-Gillison Cynthia Behnen-Gillison was recently appointed to the board for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum in 2014 and is the Chair of the marketing committee. She is Director of the Risk Assurance Practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global, audit and assurance, tax and consulting services corporation. With 14 years of accounting leadership & consulting experience she brings a breadth of knowledge in both industries & competencies to the firm and region. Behnen-Gillison is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA, Institute of Internal Auditors and the University of South Carolina Alumni Association.
 Anthony Spacciante Anthony Spacciante is a board member and RIMS representative for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. He is also a member of the speaker committee. As the Risk Financing Manager of Starbucks Coffee Company, his responsibilities include insurance placements, financing self-insurance and alternative risk financing programs. Spacciante is a graduate of Washington State University, majoring in Risk Management and Finance. He is also a Board Member and Treasurer of the Washington Chapter of RIMS.
 Anthony Spacciante Tom Taylor is a board member and IIA representative for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. As Chief Risk Officer for Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance, he is responsible for Internal Audit, Compliance, Records Governance, and Business Continuity. During his 20+ years in the insurance industry, Tom has built from the ground up, programs in Internal Audit, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management. Tom has an MBA in Technology Innovation Management and is a Certified Internal Auditor. He is a Past President and current Board Member of the Puget Sound Institute of Internal Auditors.
 Carol-Morgan-bw-Web Carol Morgan is a board member and Treasurer for the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. As Vice President of Audit & Risk Management Services for World Vision US, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide, she has responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the audit activities as well as oversight for compliance and PCI data security. Ms. Morgan is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. Ms. Morgan is an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Puget Sound Chapter Board of Directors and also serves on the Accounting and Internal Auditing Advisory Boards for Seattle University.
Juliane-Parsons-bw-web Juliane Parsons is a board member and Co-Chairman of ERF’s Speaker Committee. Juliane holds a Senior Business Management position with Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Services division and is actively involved in understanding and managing risks to Microsoft’s commercial licensing business. Prior to joining Microsoft, Juliane was a Director at Grant Thornton where she specialized in leading organizational transformation engagements. John-Plaisted-bw-Web John Plaisted is a board member of the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum and serves on the sponsorship committee.  John works at Marsh and is currently focused on delivering analytics supported advisory services to clients thru the west.  Earlier in John’s career he worked at REI in both Internal Audit and led the information security function.  John also spent a number of years at Ernst & Young in audit, consulting and business development roles.  In addition to ERF, John serves on the board of Little Bit Therapeutic Riding center, which is a not for profit whose mission is to improve the bodies, minds, and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through horse-assisted therapies and activities.  John graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Economics.
Cory-Stewart-bw-Web Cory Stewart is a board member of the Pacific Northwest Enterprise Risk Forum. Cory is the Principal Accounting Officer for Washington Federal, Inc. and joined the company in January 2016. He brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience.  Roles held by Cory previously are Chief Accounting Officer at HomeStreet, Inc., Director of Finance for Volt Information Sciences, Inc., FVP of Corporate Accounting Policy for Washington Mutual Bank and Audit Manager at PwC. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Washington and has been a CFA charterholder since 2002.  Cory graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from the University of Utah.  He is a member of CFA Society of Seattle and also serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound and the Washington Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI).
